Run by Youth Singers of Calgary

Tagged in: Performing Arts, Academics

The JUNIOR HI Division provides the ideal environment for pre and early teens to continue, or begin, their music performance experience. These active young people require constant stimulation and physical activity, both of which are part of the Youth Singers’ format. We know kids naturally want to move and groove to the music – and we let them! In addition to the excellent music, dance and stage training that each singer receives, the program also builds self-esteem, confidence and social skills.

The JUNIOR HI Division enjoys regional and continental touring opportunities and members of this group embarked on a tour adventure to California this last March to participate in a music festival and Disneyland. They came home with 3 trophies, 2 SUPERIOR Trophies for Show Choir and Concert Choir and Best Over All Middle School Choir!
