Choose AM only or PM only or Full Day Camp

Your child could become an engineering Olympic hero and help their team earn gold 'medals'. Animate your Olympic heroes by saving your imagination in a video game in the afternoons.

Olympic Heroes (mornings only)

Who has the strength to be a world-class athlete? In this five-day camp, your child will create a brand new country and will compete against opposing countries in various tests of mental and creative strength. The kids will earn “medals” throughout the week and will endeavor to become the next great team of Engineering Olympians. Your child will explore the fields of mechanical engineering, marine engineering, electrical engineering, and civil engineering as they participate in various challenges to strengthen their minds.

Video Game Design: Animate Your Olympic Heroes (afternoons only)

Video game design is one of the most imagination driven forms of engineering. Physics or real world issues do not bind video game designers unlike conventional engineers. Anything a video game designer can think up he or she can build without limitations by funding or safety protocols. Many times we like to say the sky is the limit of what we can achieve but for video game engineers the limit is where ever they wish to stop.

Your child will work in pairs to create their video games. He or she will receive all of the games made during the class, not just their own! At the end of the class, Engineering for Kids can make a software purchasing discount available. The software is Clickteam Fusion 2.5 which is also used by some professional game developers. No coding experience is needed nor do we do coding.
