The day will be divided into two parts:

PART ONE – The Characters' Face

In this 3-hour workshop, learn how to create and apply your character's face for each role you undertake. From hygiene through to application, you will learn each aspect and apply them under guidance from a professionally trained makeup artist. Through this workshop you will bring to life your character and have the audience visually feel the story come alive on stage.

PART TWO – Period Looks and Special Makeup Effects for Stage

In this 3-hour workshop, learn a few tricks to manipulate makeup to create dazzling effects for the audience. Use makeup to highlight, shadow, as well as enhance the look with prosthetics.Learn what the process was to create the characters the St. Albert Children's Theatre upcoming show.

Take your new Makeup knowledge to the next level and work during the run of the St. Albert Children's Theatre winter production. Time commitment depends on the number of students volunteering.
