Sailing Camps are a great opportunity to discover the adventure of sailing. Day one includes basic how-to sailing sessions on land and in the sailboats. On day two we shove off from the Homewood wharf and spend the rest of the time cruising through the Discovery Islands and Desolation Sound, exploring remote coves, secluded lakes, and intriguing shore lines. Each day we sail to a new location, learning the more intricate aspects of sailing. The adventure includes basic navigation, camping ashore each night, hiking to lakes, rivers or waterfalls to cool off from the hot sun, firesides, exploration, sun-tanning, meeting new people, seeing whales, porpoises or other wildlife and discussion about who Jesus Christ is and what He means to us. It will be a week you'll never forget! The Jr. Sailing Camp is for ages 13 - 15, the Sr. Sailing camps are for ages 16 - 18 and the Adult Sailing Camp is for ages 19 - 99 (older campers will be accepted if they have a note from their parent).
