Run by Burnaby Parks, Recreation & Culture

Tagged in: Science & Tech, After School

Create your own video game ! In partnership with UME Academy, and guided by film and game industry veterans, students will learn creative problem solving, physics and math through the game design process while employing the tools and technology that power today's top games. Each class, while rooted in a S.T.E.M topic, will also include time to create, play and evaluate games. Older students will be encouraged to go further by customizing their creations through programming and animation. Hardware and software is provided. Students in the 6-8 year old class are encouraged to repeat multiple sessions; instructors will work with students individually to level up their skills and customize their games.
