Ignite is where Manitoba’s young Christian leaders come to learn, grow and be challenged in unique and adventurous ways. Not only is it Camp Arnes’ training program for future camp staff; Ignite is recognized throughout the province by churches and youth groups who long to see their young leaders sharpened into passionate, mature young leaders.

The formula for Ignite consists of a five day canoe trip, service projects, equipping sessions and a week putting it all into practice shadowing a member of the summer staff. This is spread out over 4 weeks of fun, with leaders experiencing everything that Camp Arnes has to offer.

Potential Ignites undergo an application process with an interview to make sure they’re ready for the program, with scholarships available to those who qualify. Ignite graduates unlock Uncharted Waters of leadership potential, becoming potent future leaders at camp, school and church.

Fun Facts:
In Ignite, former campers and up ‘n’ coming leaders from Christian schools and youth groups meet to learn from and challenge each other.
Volunteer hours for school really pile up in Ignite, and we’ll sign off on them!
It’s common for Ignite groups to remain friends long after they’ve moved on from summer camp.
