THE BAKERY • Grades 3 – 5 • June 12 – 16Campers learn the basics of working with yeast and grains, creating both savory and sweet recipes and baking breads, cakes and cookies.
ALL-STAR CHEFS • Grades 3 – 5 • June 19 – 23Campers sharpen their culinary skills and learn to problem solve like their favorite celebrity chefs, creating masterpieces that are tasty and beautiful. The week ends with a secret-ingredient cooking challenge!
NEW! SF FOODIES • Grades 3 – 5 • July 3 – 7 (no camp 7/4 • M $370 | P $410)Campers sample local and seasonal foods and make large meals perfect for a picnic with family and friends. This session includes a destination picnic on Angel Island! Campers must arrive at the JCCSF at 8:00 am for the trip to Angel Island.
NEW! THE RESTAURANT • Grades 3 – 5 • July 10 – 21 • M $920 | P $1020Now a two-week camp, The Restaurant offers campers a more indepth look at what it takes to produce a menu and meal from start to finish. They visit a local restaurant, learn about menu choices and work to perfect recipes. The session culminates in a final presentation where campers cook and serve a restaurant-style meal.
NEW! BREAKFAST SERVED ALL DAY • Grades 3 – 5 • August 7 – 11Campers whip up breakfast meals perfect for weekend brunch or school-night dinner, making classic diner favorites, chocolate croissants and everything in between.
CALIFORNIA PICNIC • Grades 3 – 5 • August 14 – 17 (no camp 8/18 • M $370 | P $410)Campers sample local and seasonal foods and make meals perfect for a picnic with family and friends.
NEW FOR TEENS! BALL PARK FOODS • Grades 6 – 8 • June 26 – 30Campers recreate ballpark classics with a twist, making healthy alternatives like zucchini fries and bell pepper nachos. Camp session includes a trip to a Giants game!
