Building social-emotional skills through focusing on compassion and respect, Camp Indigo inspires hearts young and old, through its unique, week-long summer camp program in Austin, TX. Entering its 18th year, this heartfelt summer camp offers exciting and creative opportunities for children ages 4-12 to express themselves, explore their world, and celebrate the magic of childhood.

Activities are designed to increase confidence, teach communication skills, and promote respect for self and others.

Camp Indigo unites local Austin teachers, businesses, farmers, musicians, artists, community leaders, and volunteers to create a safe, nurturing, exploratory environment for all participants, including immigrant and refugee children now living in Austin.

Typical camp activities include rhythm games, Life Kido, yoga, mural painting, gardening, interactive drumming, improv, self portraits, journal-making, cooperative games, song-writing, and activities for simply connecting children in the spirit of play and celebration of life.
