The drypoint printmaking technique uses the immediacy of drawing to incise and scratch an image into a metal plate. Working with a sharp metal or diamond point tool, this method echoes drawing processes and produces beautiful soft, dense lines. Using Plexiglas plates, you will learn about mirror images and the basics of the print matrix. Using special intaglio inks and papers you will learn how to make a drypoint print using our press.
