Gel Plate Monoprinting

Run by Regina Parks & Recreation

Using a gelatin plate to support acrylic paint allows the manipulation of the paint using stamps, simple tools or brushes, then applying paper or fabric using a brayer to create a monoprint. Multiple layers create complex designs useful in making books, cards, Artist Trading Cards, or collage backgrounds. Materials and gel plates supplied, but bring a brayer if you have one.
