New 2017 version! The City of Lynnwood is pleased to offer the updated American Red Cross Lifeguarding. This program trains lifeguards to act with speed and confidence in emergency situations both in and out of the water. Topics include water rescue skills, surveillance and recognition, first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies, CPR, AED and more. The new course reflects the latest Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) science. This course is offered in a blended learning class format where students complete online lessons outside of class time and hands-on practice in class. Have fun and earn money at a job you will love!! Attendance required in all class sessions.
