Learn to use sound and your natural singing voice to make yourself feel better. This class presents techniques and exercises using the power of sound for wellness and transformation. Through toning (which is the singing of elongated vowels to resonate parts of the body for healing), deep breathing, chanting, singing through the chakras and using vowels as mantra, participants will experience the power sound has on our bodies, minds and spirits. These tools can relieve stress, oxygenate our bodies, improve sleep, ease pain and give us a sense of well-being and heightened awareness. No singing experience is necessary.
