Front and back crawl 75m, elementary backstroke 50m, breaststroke 3 X15m (one lesson), egg beater/treading water stationary, dolphin kick drill 3X10m. Rescue breathing for adult and child, stride entry, feet first surface dive, dangers of open water, hypothermia. Endurance swim 300m. Each class is 45 minutes in length. After Red Cross Swim Kids 8 is completed you can move between the Canadian Life Saving Society Swim Patrol program and Red Cross Swim Kids level 9 and 10 in a personalized order to suit the child's needs of lifesaving and swimming skills.
