All candidates must be able to swim 50 meters and tread water 2 min. Are you ready for another challenge and some serious fun? Want to be on a high energy team? The Lifesaving Society's Junior Lifeguard Club is the place to be if you are 7 - 15 years old. In your Junior Lifeguard Club you'll get to learn to be a lifesaver, stay fit and have a lot of fun doing it. You set your own goals to earn seals that go into your Waterlog. Through your Junior Lifeguard Club you can help out in the community by teaching others how to be Water Smart. If you want, you can travel with your team to competitive lifesaving events and set your personal best times! There will be opportunities to work on Canadian Lifesaving Program content. All candidates must be able to swim 50 metres and tread water 2 min.
