Emergency Services is offering this Heart and Stroke Foundation course that is designed to teach a variety of healthcare professionals how to recognize a number of life-threatening emergencies, how to provide CPR, how to use an AED and how to relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.Is aimed at health care providers such as EMS personnel, physicians, dentists, nurses and respiratory therapists. Individuals will be charged the full amount of the course if cancellations are made less than 72 hours in advance. No-shows will be charged the full amount. Classes will be at Fire Station #6 located on Bison Way.
