YOUTH National Lifeguard Course

Run by Halifax Community Recreation Services

National Lifeguard Course is the Nationally recognized Lifeguard Training. It is a world leading course and the minimum level of certification for lifeguards. Deals with aspects of team building, water chemistry, public relations legal liability, emergency prevention, rescue and follow-up. Standard First Aid is also included in this course. National Lifeguard Service Prerequisite - Minimum age of 16 years old and a current Bronze Cross Award. Fee - $175.00 includes materials and exam fees.
