Standard First Aid provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. Standard First Aid incorporates all of Emergency First Aid and is designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid including: medical/legal aspects of first aid treatment, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, abdominal and chest injuries, burns and medical emergencies. Includes CPR-C certification and Automated External Defibrillation (AED). Recognized by Ontarioâs Workplace Safety & Insurance Board.
Special rate available to high school students and can be selected upon registering. High school students over the age of 18 will need to show valid ID and register in person to receive rate.
Note: Pocket masks are required for all advanced aquatic courses. One can be purchased at any Recreation Centre. Pocket masks must be purchased prior to the start of the first class.
100% attendance and participation is required to complete any Aquatic Leadership Program.
Refunds will only be issues if a request is received 5 business days prior to the start of the first day of the course. After that time and up to the start of the first class a prorated refund will be received deducting one class and requires approval. No refunds will be issues once the course begins. Course material and Lifesaving Society Exam Fees are non-refundable.
