The Lifesaving Society Bronze Medallion program is a 'building block' toward further lifesaving and lifeguard training. Candidates learn lifesaving techniques for challenging open-water rescues and develop stroke efficiency and endurance (500m timed swim). 100% participation required to receive certification. Pre-requisites: 13yrs of age or Bronze Star and swimming ability at an I Can Swim Stage 3 level. Please note: A $20 candidate fee will be added to the cost of this course.
