It didn’t hit me until after my second son was born. My first had been an emergency c-section. Three weeks early, I had been diagnosed with placenta previa and began hemorrhaging at home. Rushed to hospital in an ambulance, having lost so much blood a transfusion was becoming likely.
Relationships take work. And life is busy! But that doesn't always have to mean that you and your sweetheart come last on the list. Here's a few (tried, tested and true) different ways to let each other know throughout the days and the months that seem to fly by, "I still love you."
Festive cheer, abundant generosity, and peace on earth — isn’t that what the holidays are all about? So then why do many of us spend the holidays feeling more frustrated than festive and more frazzled than peaceful? I can’t be the only one who rounds out the holidays only to find the house a mess.
Shopping with kids is torture. You should try to avoid it at all costs. It is okay to take a small sleeping baby. Anything older or louder is just asking for trouble. Be warned should you cross the threshold of a retail store with your kid in tow, you are putting your hand out to be slapped.
