2015 Outdoor Movies in Omaha

Over the past few years there has been a huge surge in demand for outdoor movies, but who can blame us, what better way to spend a summer evening than taking the big screen outdoors? Luckily for us, some amazing community organizations are providing a great line up movies for summer 2015!

Bring a blanket or lawn chair, dress warm (we may be having a hot summer but the nights still get cool!), and of course don't forget the popcorn. 

Some of these movies come with bonus entertainment features, so it's more than just a typical night at the movies!

The Lego Movie

July 17, Holland Center Courtyard

An ordinary Lego construction worker, thought to be the prophesied "Special," is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil tyrant from gluing the Lego universe into eternal stasis.

Free, Music by Clark & Co. starts at 7:30pm, movie begins at dusk (8:45pm)




Star Trek Into Darkness

July 20, Turner Park

After the crew of the Enterprise find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one-man weapon of mass destruction.

The Amazing Spider-Man

July 24, Holland Center Courtyard

After Peter Parker is bitten by a genetically altered spider, he gains newfound, spider-like powers and ventures out to solve the mystery of his parents' mysterious death.

Free, Music by Blue House starts at 7:30pm, movie begins at dusk (8:45pm)




The Jungle Book

July 24, Sumtur Amphitheatre 

An adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's classic tale of Mowgli the jungle boy who is raised by wolves after being lost when a tiger attacked an encampment and killed his father. Years later he finds himself re-united with his childhood love Kitty and back in the "civilization" of Colonial India which he finds far less civilized then his jungle haunts.

The Sandlot

July 24, Bayliss Park

A new kid in town is taken under the wing of a young baseball prodigy and his team. Together, they get themselves into many adventures involving rival teams, lifeguards, and a vicious dog.
