Whether it’s pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, or haunted houses you’re after this Halloween, there are a ton of Kids Halloween Events in San Jose during the month of October, so we thought we’d tell you about a few…
There will be face painting, balloon animals, music, and a pumpkin patch at the Evergreen Village Square Harvest Festival on Sept 28, 11-2pm. Join in for loads of fall family fun!
Enjoy the large family-oriented pumpkin patch, exhibits of 4H projects, expanded plant sales, all day entertainment, and tours of Prusch Farm Park (S. King Rd, San Jose), with its historic farm house, barn, and orchards at the day-long Prusch Harvest Fair & Exposition. Oct. 5, 10-4 pm.
A family favorite when it comes to kids halloween events in san jose! … An evening of FREE trick-or-treating inside of Westgate Center! Meet at the registration table near Center Court and receive a free trick or treat bag and map of locations. Enjoy performances by Andy Z, Cold Suspension, Balloon Animals, Arts & Crafts and more! Oct. 15, 5-7 pm.
Be our overnight guest for a howling good time and enjoy the thrill of the Happy Hollow Zoo after dark. During your adventure, learn the truth about “scary” animals through Halloween-themed activities, games, live animal encounters, and night tours. Your adventure includes a late-night snack and breakfast the next morning. Bring your own tent and sleeping gear to tent camp in the Crooked House Meadow! Oct. 26, 6 pm.
The Pumpkin Train is a great family trip offered every October, by the Sacramento RiverTrain. The trip includes a fun train ride and a visit to Uncle Ray’s Pumpkin Patch. The train ride is a 30-45 minute ride with friendly “scarecrows” strolling car to car entertaining kids with stories, songs & more. At Uncle Ray’s Pumpkin Patch everyone will de-board the train to pick out a souvenir pumpkin. In addition, you can go for a tractor ride and wander through the corn and hay bale mazes. The entire trip lasts about 2.5-3 hours and will be totally great time for the whole family! Oct 12, 20, & 27, 10 am.
Come in your Halloween costume and join the party at Willow Glen Community Center, Oct. 19 & 26! Kids will enjoy yummy food, ghoulish games, creepy crafts, and stories provided by our staff. A safe fun Halloween party for kids.
Join the folks on October 26th for “Haunt” at History Park in a safe, fun and scare-free setting! Trick or Treat at the historic houses, ride the trolley, join the Costume Parade around the park, wrap-a-mummy in a contest for best “wrapped,” and join in many other creative hands-on activities! Food will be available for purchase. Oct. 26, 12- 4, FREE for member, or $5 for visitors.
Mommy & Me on The Row is a morning of entertainment, interactive games, crafts and educational activities designed for parents and their pre-school aged children. Families will enjoy Halloween themed arts and crafts, face painting, music, balloon art, story time, and much more. Oct 29, 10-12 pm.
