It’s almost the 4th of July again! Are you ready to celebrate the birth of America with your kids this year? To help you out we’ve assembled a list of all of the best 4th of July fireworks in the Dallas area, as well as all the other great celebrations and activities that you can enjoy with your family this Independence Day!

There’s plenty of great family-friendly events happening throughout the region this year, with fireworks, celebrations, parades, fun runs / walks, and so much more.

Fair Park Fourth - July 4

The City of Dallas, Friends of Fair Park and the State Fair of Texas invite everyone to celebrate America with a day of family fun. 

Enjoy the museum, family activities, concerts, and rides, followed by the traditional fireworks show.

Old Fashioned Fourth - July 4

Deck the family out in red, white, and blue, grab your picnic basket and little red wagon and come celebrate the nation’s past at Dallas Heritage Village’s Old Fashioned Fourth.  

Participate in the historic games, and take in the parade and musical performances.

Addison Kaboom Town - July 3

With the fireworks show being long-standing favorite for over 30 years, Addison Kaboom Town and airshow speaks for itself. Festivities start at 4pm.

Farmers Branch Independence Day Celebration - July 3

Farmers Branch provides one of the very few, low-level firework shows in Texas. The show also includes a band, KidZone area, and other festival favourites.

Red, White & BOOM - July 4

The City of McKinney celebrates the Fourth of July at Red, White and BOOM! with free family activities, live entertainment, a classic car, truck, and cycle show, as well as the traditional parade and spectacular fireworks show.

Location: various locations in McKinney, TX

Firewheel Town Center Star Spangled Spectacular - July 3

Firewheel Town Center, in conjunction with the City of Garland, will celebrate our nation’s independence with a live music, food trucks, and an array of family entertaiment.

Date: July 3, 4pm-9pm.
Location: Firewheel Town Center, Garland, Texas
