Over the past few years there has been a huge surge in demand for outdoor movies, but who can blame us, what better way to spend a summer evening than taking the big screen outdoors? Luckily for us, some amazing community organizations are providing a great line up movies for summer 2017! 

Bring a blanket or lawn chair, dress warm (we may be having a hot summer but the nights still get cool!), and of COURSE don't forget the popcorn.

Secret Life of Pets

Saturday, June 24th - Kilbirnie Park - 7:00 PM


Max's life as a favourite pet is turned upside down, when his owner brings home a sloppy mongrel named Duke, whom Max instantly dislikes.

In a city of humanoid animals, a hustling theatre attempt to save his theatre with a singing competition becomes grander that he anticipates even as its finalists find that their lives will never, ever be the same again.

Smurfs: The Lost Village

A mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost.

An adventurous teenager sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demigod Maui, who guides her in her quest to become a master way-finder. Along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she always sought: her own identity.

Finding Dory

Friday, August 11th - Balena Park - 7:00 PM


A family favourite! Dory is a wide-eyed, blue tang fish who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds or so. The one thing she can remember is that she somehow became separated from her parents as a child. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on an epic adventure to find them.

The Lego Batman Movie

Friday, August 25th - Centennial Park - 7:00 PM


Check out a cooler-than-ever Bruce Wayne and watch him deal with the usual suspects as they plan to rule Gotham City. Rumour has it that Bruce discovers he accidentally adopted a teenage orphan who now wants to be his sidekick.
