Sports Camps

Manitoba Canoe & Kayak Centre

Is you child ready to spend a week paddling in the Red River? Manitoba Canoe & Kayak Centre is hosting week-long camps throughout the summer, with full and half day options available. Youth ages 9 to 14 will learn how to canoe, kayak, and dragon boat. Camp staff also have lots of games, crafts, outings, and other activities planned to give campers an extremely memorable and rewarding experience.

Flying Squirrel

A 9-week summer camp program introduced by Flying Squirrel Sports is gearing up for a great year!  Customers will enroll in weekly programs (sold by the week), each weekly program has three 20-person groups based on age. Your child will have tons of fun fort building, bouncing through obstacle courses, doing relay races, colouring, and playing board games

*Each group of 20 campers will be separated into four teams of five campers, and will compete together as a team throughout the summer camp week. The top team will win the "Golden Acorn Cup."

Jr. Bisons

The University of Manitoba Bisons are excited to offer their annual High Performance Summer Camps. These camps are geared towards athletes looking to further their athletic skill development in an intense and challenging environment. All camps will be led by University of Manitoba Head Coaches, assistant coaches, current and former Bison athletes.

Prairie Badminton

Prairie Badminton is Winnipeg's only badminton specific facility. They have 9 international standard badminton courts and an on-site pro-shop for badminton related equipment and the best indoor shoes for any court sport.

They have the most skilled coaches in Manitoba and they are leaders in their knowledge of badminton in a fun and enthusiastic way. They have awesome summer camps that help kids fine tune their skills while having fun!

Sport Manitoba

Sport Manitoba envisions creating the best sport community through initiative and leadership, and by establishing a highly supportive environment that will enhance the abilities of all Manitobans in their pursuit of excellence and in their joy of effort in amateur sport. They offer multi-sport summer camps for kids to have a fun and active summer!

Gymkyds Gymnastic Centre

GymKyds Gymnastic Centre is one of Manitoba’s leading gymnastic training centres. Their goal is to promote a healthy, active lifestyle by providing a supportive, friendly, and above all “fun” environment for both students and their parents.

They offer a variety themed summer camps throughout the summer. Full days or Half days are available for children ages 3+.

Beach Volleyball Centre

Kids participate in sports activities, relay races, water games and more! Your child is bound to have a jam-packed week of fun and physical activity!

Their one of a kind camp is a great opportunity to build teamwork and leadership skills, as well as foster growth and development through playing a variety of sports. This camp will also encourage campers to build connections and lasting friendships with their peers and leaders along the way.

Sagehill Stables

Sagehill Stables is an up and coming equestrian facility in the Winnipeg area. They are hosting week-long riding camps this summer for kids aged 8 to 16. Each day will include, theory, tack-up time, riding, crafts, time with the petting zoo animals and games!

No experience necessary.

Under the leadership of Larry Bumstead, NHSC will continue to offer programs and camps which provide opportunities for players of all ages, skill levels, male and female. 

All summer programs include: • Multi-Sports Camp Instruction • Showdown Competition • Individual and Team Video Analysis • Low Player-Instructor Ratio • Daily Hot Lunch • Official Camp Jersey • Super Series Games

The RINK Summer Hockey Programs 

Summer programs at The RINK incorporate on-ice skills training, goalie/shooting training, and optional off-ice conditioning.

It is the combination of these three disciplines in conjunction with The RINK facility that makes it all possible. It is their experienced team of hockey professionals that make it work.

STEM and Academic Camps

Engineering for Kids Winnipeg

Engineering for Kids' classes, camps, and workshops give students engaging opportunities to experiment with their own hands to see the real-world uses of the concepts they learn in school. Each class is project based and centered around the Engineering Design Process, helping kids develop self-confidence, collaboration, problem-solving, and other 21st century skills that will prepare them for a successful future.

Code Ninjas

Code Ninjas camps are packed full of fun and engaging activities including coding, game-building and robotics! Recommended for children ages 7-14. Kids have fun and parents see results!

STEM Camp Winnipeg

The STEM Camp mission is to inspire Canadian youth through participating in hands-on activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in both official languages. STEM Camp provides learning experiences through fun, engaging programming that encourages children to explore their sense of wonder. Children are introduced to hands-on, engaging STEM activities that promote discovery, reward curiosity and leave children amazed at what they can do.

WISE Kid-Netic Energy

WISE Kid-Netic Energy offers affordable STEM Camps and free All-Girls Codemakers camps at various locations across Manitoba.  Both camps offer cover several different themes to accommodate different interets.  WISE (Women in Science and Engineering) is an outreach group from the University of Manitoba, whose goal is to educate and motivate youths to pursue careers in engineering and science.  

Arts and Theatre Camps

Manitoba Theatre for Young People

At MTYP theatre camp, students meet new friends, play drama games, learn theatre skills from professional teachers and artists, and build a show from the ground up in just one week. 

This year’s camps are inspired by the historic exhibition Olympus: The Greco-Roman Collections of Berlin, bringing to Winnipeg ancient art from one of the best collections in the world!

Campers will see and learn about the art, create art with professional artists, go on exciting field trips, and stage their own mini-exhibition at the end of the week.

Outdoor and Variety Camps

Camp Arnes

Camp Arnes is an inter-denominational Christian camp, committed to presenting opportunities for children and youth to experience an unforgettable adventure. Endless possibilities await. Camp Arnes offers the greatest variety of programs, adventures and experiences, for all ages.

There is always something new and each session of camp is unique and different from the next.

B'Nai Brith Camp (Kenora)

Since 1954 boys and girls, ages 8-16 have been building lifelong friendships and lasting memories at B'Nai Brith Camp. Their camp site boasts a beautiful lake and picturesque surroundings that enable each camper to feel safe, secure and “at one” with friends and nature. 

BB provides a creative Jewish community where campers and staff can strengthen their identity through both day and away camps. 

Winnipeg Beach Day Camp

Summers are made at Winnipeg Beach Day Camp! Located next to beautiful Lake Winnipeg beneath the shade of trees in a provincial park, their camp is an idyllic summer escape where children can play outside all day long. 

Each of their seven weeks of camp feature a different theme. This years themes are: spirit, fun in the sun, circus & magic, olympics, animals, survivor, witches & wizards, and the penny carnival! 

Assiniboine Park Zoo 

Send your kids to the only Zoo Camp in town! Children will enjoy a one-of-a-kind adventure featuring animals, nature, art and non-stop fun! They will learn about animal behaviours, the environment, and nature in a fun and educational setting.

This camp is perfect for kids in grades 1 to 6. Camp themes are Wild Science and Zoo Mysteries - and kids can attend both! 

Manitoba Children's Museum

The Children’s Museum offers fun-filled day camps that get kids’ minds and bodies moving during summer break. 

Museum campers will create, discover, learn, and meet new friends as they explore exciting themes related to our galleries. Grouped with others of a similar age, campers will enjoy stimulating, age-appropriate activities. With indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts, time in the galleries, special guests, and field trips, your children are sure to have a memorable week full of adventure.
