With Easter coming up in just a couple weeks, here are some great places to take the kids!
The City of San Mateo Parks and Recreation Department’s signature springtime community event and largest “egg hunt” in its 38th year of existence will be attended by hundreds of excited children and families eagerly searching for eggs in beautiful Central Park.
9am sharp the egg hunt begins! Areas are designated by ages 3-10 throughout beautiful Twin Pines Park. Arrive early, bring a camera for a photo with the Bunny and enjoy free refreshments and free bounce house!
Celebrate Easter with a special Easter Egg Hunt at Gamble Garden. Your children can visit live animals in a supervised Petting Zoo, make arts and crafts projects, and get tattooed (temporary, of course)! Then they'll dash through Gamble's beautiful gardens to find Easter Eggs. Will yours be the lucky child who finds the Golden Egg?
The Egg Hunt is appropriate for children who are walking and up to 10 years old. There will be different start times for each age group with a concert by Oklin Bloodworth to follow.
The Teen Egg Launch is appropriate for ages 11 through 17 years. Bring your homemade launcher and see who can launch the eggs furthest! All participants must register by April 1, 2015.
Hop on over to join the City of Menlo Park, the Menlo Park Firefighter’s Association, and the Menlo Park Fire Protection District for our Annual Egg Hunt! The Bunny will arrive at 10:00 am for pictures! The big egg hunt will start at 10:30 am. Also, come and enjoy bounce houses, crafts, and a jelly bean guess!
Join the Easter Eggstravaganza and see the bunny arrive by personal helicopter! Get an Easter Egg straight from the Bunny and enjoy face painting, a bounce house and slide and an amazing model train display.
A week before Easter, we’re hosting our 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs to benefit Pets in Need! Come down to Red Morton Park with your pooch to enjoy: eggs filled with treats and prizes, local vendors, Easter Bunny photos, and more.
Yes, I know Jan Cleaver is almost "June Cleaver" from Leave it to Beaver! My parents had a good sense of humor.
