Easter Events in the Peninsula

Some great family events this for upcoming Easter! Easter hunts, decorating, and much more, check out these top kid events happening in the Peninsula area.

With Easter coming up in just a couple weeks, here are some great places to take the kids!

Top Easter Events in the San Francisco Peninsula

38th Anniversary of Eggstravaganza (April 4)

The City of San Mateo Parks and Recreation Department’s signature springtime community event and largest “egg hunt” in its 38th year of existence will be attended by hundreds of excited children and families eagerly searching for eggs in beautiful Central Park.

Egg Adventure Hunt - Belmont (April 4)

9am sharp the egg hunt begins! Areas are designated by ages 3-10 throughout beautiful Twin Pines Park. Arrive early, bring a camera for a photo with the Bunny and enjoy free refreshments and free bounce house!

Easter Egg Hunt at Gamble Garden (April 4)

Celebrate Easter with a special Easter Egg Hunt at Gamble Garden. Your children can visit live animals in a supervised Petting Zoo, make arts and crafts projects, and get tattooed (temporary, of course)! Then they'll dash through Gamble's beautiful gardens to find Easter Eggs. Will yours be the lucky child who finds the Golden Egg?

Egg Hunt & Teen Egg Launch (April 4)

The Egg Hunt is appropriate for children who are walking and up to 10 years old. There will be different start times for each age group with a concert by Oklin Bloodworth to follow.

The Teen Egg Launch is appropriate for ages 11 through 17 years. Bring your homemade launcher and see who can launch the eggs furthest! All participants must register by April 1, 2015.

Menlo Park Egg Hunt (April 4)

Hop on over to join the City of Menlo Park, the Menlo Park Firefighter’s Association, and the Menlo Park Fire Protection District for our Annual Egg Hunt! The Bunny will arrive at 10:00 am for pictures! The big egg hunt will start at 10:30 am. Also, come and enjoy bounce houses, crafts, and a jelly bean guess!

Easter Bunny Arrives by Helicopter (April 4)

Join the Easter Eggstravaganza  and see the bunny arrive by personal helicopter! Get an Easter Egg straight from the Bunny and enjoy face painting, a bounce house and slide and an amazing model train display.

Wag Hotel's 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs (March 28)

A week before Easter, we’re hosting our 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Dogs to benefit Pets in Need! Come down to Red Morton Park with your pooch to enjoy: eggs filled with treats and prizes, local vendors, Easter Bunny photos, and more.
