Eggstravaganza

This year's Eggstravaganza will be sponsored by West Dallas Community Church and organized by Mercy Street Ministries in part with the collaboration of West Dallas Outreach, West Dallas Community School, West Dallas Initiative in March/April

Date and Time: Saturday March 28, 11am
Location: West Dallas Community Church 


Easter Egg Hunt

Start off your morning with a scrumptious breakfast then move out to the garden for a delightful Easter Egg Hunt in Jonsson  Color Garden. 

Date and Time: Fridays & Saturdays March 27, 28 & April 3, 4, at 7:30am
Location: Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden 


Children’s Activities in the Pecan Grove

Another event at the Dallas Arboretum. Easter fun starts with the Children’s activities in the Pecan Grove include face painting, crafts and a petting zoo.

Date and Time: Saturday, Sunday April 4- 5, 12pm -4pm
Location: Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden 

The Tale of Peter Rabbit

Get into the Easter spirit with a live version of a classic tale. The musical adaptation of Beatrix Potter's beloved rabbit tale lavishly blends puppetry and live acting on the Baker Theater's stage. Peter Rabbit's mother warned her children not to go into Mr. McGregor's garden, lest they get baked into a pie like their father. When she leaves the burrow, curiosity gets the best of little Peter, and he visits the garden. Will he escape the fate of his father and find the way back to the safety and warmth of his home? Fall in love again with this cozy tale of everyone's favorite naughty bunny. Ideal for ages 4 and up. Click here for tickets.

Victorian Eggstravaganza and Spring Festival

The Heritage Farmstead Museum will be hosting an egg hunt for children 8 and younger. All of the proceeds will benefit the Heritage Farmstead Museum. Tickets are $6 for online preregistration and $8 at the door the day of the event. Come for the hunt but stay for the day as we celebrate the joys of spring on the Blackland Prairie with the traditional shearing of our sheep. There will be hands on demonstrations, historic exhibits, baby animals, spectacular Percheron Draft Horses will be pulling our vintage wagon, and so much more. Bring a picnic lunch, spread out a blanket and take a step back in time and watch Texas Vintage League baseball featuring our own Plano team. Click here to register!

Annual Funny Bunny Festival

A bit of a drive from the city, but well worth it for the Funny Bunny Festival! The free festival will be at the park’s ball fields. Egg hunts from 10:30 a.m. to noon will be open to all ages. Within each hunt, there will be a designated area for ages 2 and younger, who should be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Other activities include a petting zoo, the Boogie Woogie Choo Choo, face painting, carnival games and a cupcake walk. 

Date and Time: March 28th, 9:30am- 12:30pm
Location: Toyota of Lewisville, Lewisville

Italian Club Easter Bake Sale

Take your pick from a table of mouth watering homemade baked goodies with the Italian Club Easter Bake Sale.Goodies are from our best Italian bakers and from our bakery chef, Christian. 

Date and Time: Friday March 27, 11am – 8pm
Location: Italian Club
