Easter is just around the corner, and we want you and your family to be armed with tons of fun Eastery activities! Here's a calendar of events for all things Easter, in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

Vancouver sure knows how to celebrate Easter! From sumptuous breakfast, cupcakes, animal fair, games, swimming and egg hunting activities! The staff at Chatterblock wants to make sure you know about these super fun events, so we have them all here for you:

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Start the Easter holiday by having a family breakfast with the Easter Bunny! The folks at Harris Barn will prepare a delicious pancake breakfast to start the day, followed by craft workshops and Easter egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will visit as well.

Easter on the Farm

Aldor Acres Farm love Easter and Spring and they want to share the beauty with you! Spend Easter on the Farm and witness the blooming flowers, chirping birds and bouncing animal babies. Experience the fun on a tractor-pulled hayride and visit the animals around the farm.  We also have a delicious lunch prepared for you, complete with farm fresh sausages and Easter cookies!

April 3 - 6, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Easter at the Cannery

The Cannery has prepared a lineup of fun activities for kids 2 to 12 years old for their Annual Easter at the Cannery holiday event. There will be an Easter Salmon (egg) hunt every 30 minutes! Get your kids to participate and they will receive a goody bag of Easter treats. Other activities include crafts, and other fun games for the little ones.

Easter Scavenger Hunt & Egg Scramble

Want some chocolate treats this coming Easter? Then come to the ultimate Easter Scavenger Hunt and Egg Scramble at the Fort Langley National Historic Site. Your Easter mission is to complete all the activities of the scavenger hunt to earn as many chocolate treats as you can! The "Egg Scramble' activity will have the kids looking for as many eggs as they can on the giant map of British Columbia. Fun and educational at the same time!

April 5, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Fort Langley National Historic Site , Fort Langley, BC

Easter Animal Fair

Spend Easter at the Surrey Museum and join in the crafts, game and egg scavenger hunt in the galleries. You can watch Alison Trinkaus and George, her amazing dancing dog will perform at the museum's plaza. Discover and learn about local wildlife, meet rescue animals and chat with representatives from different animal welfare organizations. This is the ultimate Easter Animal Fair!

April 4, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Surrey Museum , Surrey, BC

Easter Train at Stanley Park

With activities like face painting, craft workshops, games and Easter egg hunt, coming to the Easter Train at Stanley Park is the best way to celebrate Easter. Bring your fun spirit and your own basket for the egg hunt! Order your tickets early because this family-friendly event sells out fast.

Eco-Easter Egg Hunt

Celebrate Easter this year by getting close to nature. Bring the whole family to the Colony Farm Community Garden to search for Easter eggs and discover the wonders of egg-laying species at the garden. Bring your own basket for the Easter eggs you will find in this Eco-Easter Egg Hunt.

This is great! Thanks Joelle! I didn't realise that Vancouver had so many Easter family events happening this weekend. The Eco-Easter egg hunt sounds like a "winner" to me, though the Easter Animal Fair also sounds good - I may have to flip a coin on it!
