November 23-25 at the San Jose Convention Center
The San Jose Harvest Festival, taking place November 23-25 at the San Jose Convention Center, is known as the West Coast’s largest indoor arts and crafts show, offering more than 24,000 handmade and embellished gifts. Throughout the weekend there will be live music and entertainment as well as a hands-on KidZone.
November 30 at the Quinlan Community Center
Begin the holiday season with Cupertino's Tree Lighting Ceremony at Quinlan Community Center. The evening will include a countdown to light the tree, music, refreshments, and a special visit from a friend who lives in the North Pole! Admission is free, but bring a non-perishable canned good that will be donated to West Valley Community Services. Dress warm, as part of the event takes place outdoors.
December 1 at History Park
Get in the yuletide spirit and celebrate the holidays strolling through History Park, listening to the sounds of Victoria carolers, take part in some old-fashioned crafts, and operate a 1915 hand-car...and meet Santa too!
December 1, 8, 15 (multiple shows), at the Fujitsu Planetarium
This highly popular laser show features a mix of everyone's favorite holiday music, and gives new meaning to the term "holiday lights". Show contains the holiday music selections such as: Joy to the World, Jingle Bell Rock, White Christmas, Snow Miser, Rockin‘ Round the Christmas Tree, and more.
December 2 at the Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose
Menorahs and Miracles is a cultural celebration of Hanukkah that takes place annually on the first Sunday in December at the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose. It's organized by the JCC in collaboration with the museum.
December 8 at the San Jose Museum of Art
In this drop-in workshop, experiment with collagraph, a fun and simple printmaking technique that incorporates collage. All materials are provided. Beginners and all ages are welcome. Free with museum admission.
December 15-16 at South Hall
