But to get you started, we've compiled a list of our favorites here:

Variety Camps

Kidventure Camp Austin

Welcome to Kidventure. Our mission is to help build the lives of kids, provide them with opportunities to grow strong, and demonstrate that they can make a real difference in the world. For 24 years, we have chosen to do so through the power of camp. Whether you’re playing sports at our summer day camp, zip-lining at our overnight camp, or problem-solving at our after school program, everything we do is purposeful.

Camp Champions

Camp Champions is a boys and girls summer camp for children ages 5-18 located in the Hill Country of Central Texas.

From waterskiing to horseback riding, sports to crafts, climbing walls to archery, we have over 40 activities to challenge and delight our campers.

Anderson Mill Limited District

Anderson Mill provides awesome summer camps for kids aged 5-12. All camps run out of AMLD Community Center. Kids can choose from a variety of camp themes such as wet 'n wild, sports, and myths & legends. Your child will have an awesome week in this well-rounded and fun camp!

ATX Kids Club

Kids gain self confidence by learning how to explore their own city through urban adventures with our community partner, CapMetro. Through these adventures, ATX Kids Club shows kids that Austin is truly accessible to all. Kids will also explore the history and beauty of the Texas Hill Country with guided van excursions. Through these experiences, ATX Kids Club provides campers with a sense of self, sense of place and sense of adventure.

Earth Native Wilderness School

At Earth Native we understand that while wonderful, nature can also be daunting and intimidating at times. We therefore strive to be a bridge helping people and communities not only learn new life-enhancing skills that lead to greater confidence and fun in the outdoors, but also to provide a space for people who are interested in learning more about the wonder of nature to come and develop their skill and connection in a community setting.

Camp Doublecreek

This was a no-brainer. Camp DoubleCreek has hosted Austin's best day camp since 1971. They have every activity you could think of, from swimming and mini golf to tennis and horseback riding!

With plenty of options, your child is guaranteed to have an amazing week during one of their many themed camps.

Arts Camps

Camp Artery

We believe that true creativity is cultivated through courage. We help our students develop the courage to paint, (or sculpt, or illustrate, or write...) by focusing on the creative PROCESS rather than the product. Your child's love of learning, critical thinking skills, and ability to collaborate will blossom in our programs.

Creative Action

All Creative Action programs are designed to help young people develop holistically—blending arts education and youth development. We create dynamic and engaging learning experiences that allow youth to develop measurable creative expression, a commitment to social justice, 21st century skills, and social and emotional skills.

The Art Garage

The Art Garage in Austin teaches real art curriculum taught by certified art teachers in a positive, encouraging and engaging environment. It will be the most creative and fulfilling week of your child's life!

Kids can choose from Ninja Turtles, Frozen, Safari, and many more themes! (Or choose them all, why not!)

Summer Spark days are a careful balance between individual and group activity, and time for relaxation, reflection, and play.

Their summer science camps will engage and expand your child's mind, as well as offering a big dose of fun! Camps are in various themes and are geared to specific age groups.

Camp Fun Brain

Because reading camp comes across a lot like broccoli camp! At CFB, our primary focus is reading because we believe that a solid foundation in reading gives kids a leg up in anything they want to accomplish, enjoy, or become in life. We approach reading in a way that feels a lot like creative play. By weaving literacy into STEAM based activities, campers grow as readers through authentic engagement with text. (And we continue to dream of a world where reading camp comes across like Disney World!)

Sports and Dance Camps

A lot of these are really cool themed camps. My little brother in law would love engineering for kids. When I was a kid, I would have been more into the Camp DoubleCreek style of camp. I didn't want to learn, I just wanted to play.
