Art and Dance Camps

Academic and Tech Camps
At the Discovery Centre they believe in a hands-on, minds-on philosophy, and it’s the backbone for everything they do – from their exhibits, live science shows, workshops and community outreach to their science busking and summer camp programs.
Bricks 4 Kidz camps are high-energy, fast paced settings where kids explore the world of engineering, architecture and machines in a fun, comfortable environment. Camp themes and activities are specifically designed for children ages 5 – 13.
Plenty of fun is to be had as all camps include motorized model building, creative free play building, LEGO-based games and challenges, snack breaks, and small daily take home items!
CEED's Education team is committed to building the entrepreneurial spirit within youth across Nova Scotia. We achieve this by delivering workshops to educate youth in schools and communities about entrepreneurial skills, as well as bringing youth through our Juniorpreneur Summer and March Break Camps, where kids learn first hand what it takes to be an entrepreneur as they run their own businesses for a day!
Letting imaginations run wild with state-of-the-art technology has long been Artech’s owner and director – Ronnie Scullion’s – passion and pastime. With the camp programs, Artech instructors engage the creative minds of youth while giving them access to an array of today’s high-tech tools and gadgets.
In combination with their residential camp at King's Edghill School, Debate Camp welcomes novice speakers, eager to learn new skills--and experienced speakers, who are seeking improve their competitive debating ability. Campers are grouped by age and skill level.

Camp Canada is an exciting cross-cultural learning opportunity for students aged 8–14 years, hosted at King’s-Edgehill School in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada from July 13th-27th, 2015. Students from around the world will gather to develop language skills and explore the natural beauty of NS in an atmosphere sure to encourage life-long friendships through physical activities and excursions.
This is an opportunity to learn English or Spanish and immerse oneself in Canadian culture.
To support Physical Literacy within their community, they continue to align their Summer Camps to the Sport for Life S4L model to help kids get an active start in life – and enjoy it too! This summer, their Physical Literacy and Behaviour Specialists will incorporate the theme of each weekly camp, while working with the kids on the S4L Basic & Fundamental Movement skills.
They are more than just a basketball club. Their philosophy is focused on the entire person, not just their athletic capabilities. They help kids develop life skills as well as honing basketball talent. Basketball provides an excellent medium to nurture life skills that will stay with the athlete long after their playing days are over. They also help athletes achieve the highest level they are capable of achieving, on and off the court.
Active Outdoor Camps
Each year, Canadian Parents for French – Nova Scotia organizes an exciting summer camp season. There are week-long overnight or day camps available that cover a range of French levels and activities, from team sports, to arts & crafts, to kayaking, and even sailing!

Their truly unique summer camp experience offers parents the peace of mind that comes with knowing their kids are active, engaged and having a blast in a safe, fun environment. Their young campers spend their day with a mature and caring staff who have a passion for working with children. At Kidston, kids are free to be themselves and to explore their place in the universe in a safe and nurturing environment. The Canadian Sea Turtle Network camp helps kids expand their connection with nature. They play games, do experiments, grow things, go on outings, make art and spend a ton of time outside exploring. Your child will laugh, get their clothes messy, learn amazing things about nature—and go home with a bit of the peace it offers in the midst of a busy world.
With over 40 options to choose from for ages 5-17, Dalhousie University provides children and youth with the opportunity to meet new friends, develop new skills, keep active, and have a fun and rewarding experience. Camps are staffed by exceptional instructors, coaches, and players.
Lunches are included for all on-campus camps, as well as a camp t-shirt or jersey and a complimentary pass to a Dal Tigers home game and a family pass to Dalplex.
From athletic and recreational games in the gymnasium, to art activities and crafts, to outdoor adventures and scavenger hunts around the beautiful campus and weekly swim trips at the Canada Games Centre, MSVU ensures a fun-filled, safe, and active experience for your child!
Camp Leaders and Coordinators are qualified, experienced Mount students, with many aspiring to teach or work with children through our Child & Youth Studies program or Bachelor of Education program.
