Top Summer Camps in Lexington


Here are our favorite summer camps in the Lexington area, each offering fun activities for your kids:


Lexington Christian Academy

LCA's Camp Feathers' day camp is available for kids age 3 through rising 6th graders. Each week, Camp Feathers will offer an exciting theme where campers will explore worship, science, art, music, and so much more.

Several athletic camps are also offered for kids from Kindergarten to 18, although some sports are only offered for certain age groups.



Aviation Summer Camp

Learn all about aviation from the history and aircraft design, then explore behind-the-scenes airport operations, and practice flying yourself on a flight simulator!  If that isn't enough, help plan and conduct your own flight in a 4-seat aircraft with an FAA-approved pilot!

T-shirts, flight log, and lunch & snacks provided.

2-day camps are offered at 3 different levels for kids aged 10 through 16.


Aldersgate Camp

Aldersgate Camp combines bible study and christian teachings with several traditional camp activities. Camps are offered for several special interests (i.e. science, equestrian, and archery just to name a few), as well as some that combine a broader variety of activities.

There is something for all ages here for kids from 3rd to 12th grade, as well as intergenerational camps for parents and grandparents to join the fun!


Camp Shalom

Camp Shalom offers the Gesher Overnight camp, as well as day camps, and a family camp.  Campers are separated into groups by age, from Pre-K through 9th Grade for the most age-appropriate activities. Such activities include arts & crafts, games, sports, storytelling, music, and teva (nature) among others.

Their non-denominational programs bring children from all streams of Judaism to learn about Jewish culture and history.


Lexington Taekwondo & Jiu Jitsu Academy

This Martial Arts school will teach your child new, unique, awesome skills that they can’t learn anywhere else. The values of focus, discipline and confidence as part or their core curriculum.

Your child will WANT to learn these vital life Skills, because the instructors and super-high energy, engaging classes set your child up for success by using our Simple 3 Step Success System--self-respect; self-defense; and self-confidence.


Legacy All Sports

Legacy All-Sports Camps are chalk-­full of gymnastics, dance, cheer, and all-­sports activities!

All camps include lunch and an activity/craft. Inflatable fun and water-­based activities will be offered throughout the summer, too!

With daily and weekly rates available, your child can enjoy the Legacy experience the entire summer or select days!


Reading Camp

Lexington is proud to be one of the flagship camps of the Reading Camp network. 

Reading Camp meets the educational, social and emotional needs of children in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade who struggling with their reading skills. by providing a FREE week of camp.

This day camp serves children who attend schools in the neighborhood surrounding Mission House, and will be held from June 15-19th.


Imani Family Life Center

This full-day summer camp is for children ages 5-12. To assist parents with child care needs, the program will begin the day after school ends and will run until the day before school starts (projected June 9-Aug 12). Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided.

The camp is designed for children to maintain academic knowledge acquired throughout the year, but allow a child to be a child during the summer months. Facilities include such as an indoor gymnasium with 2 official-sized basketball courts, 2 official-sized soccer fields, a baseball field, a library and a computer lab.
