Burnaby Village Museum 

Enjoy the fun and adventure of summer in Vancouver at a summer heritage adventure camps. Weekly day camps run from July 6 until school starts in September. Each week is a different theme, so you can enjoy multiple weeks!

This years themes include: archaeology, toy adventures, food capers, outdoor escapes, and many other cool themes! 



Place des Arts

Summer Fun! camps at Place des Arts offer everything you need for your 5 to 14 year old: flexibility, choice, innovation, excellent instruction, after hours care and lots of summer fun! 

Camps include a variety of art based activities. They offer expertise in dance, music, visual arts, theatre and creative writing.

Grouse Mountain Resort

Timberline Ranch

Looking for a kid's camp near Vancouver, BC?  Horseback riding is just the beginning of your adventure.  

Timberline Ranch's 73 acres of woods and farmland, in the foothills of Golden Ears Mountain, are the perfect backdrop to a camp and retreat centre that has brought incredible excitement and outdoor education to youth and adults since 1961.  





Pedalheads 

Atlantis Programs Inc. and Pedalheads® provides innovative and effective learn to bike and swim programs for kids 2-12 years old. Since 1986 they have taught children to ride and swim, using our own teaching methods, combined with small classes and exceptional instructors.

Stillwood Camp

Two goals that we as Stillwood staff hope to meet are: to provide each camper with an opportunity to grow in their relationship with God, and to give each camper the best week of their summer. A variety of camps are offered, including both overnight camps for single moms and their kids, and day camps.

Among the many activities available are swimming, the indoor climbing tower, outdoor climbing wall, outdoor volleyball, games, the gymnasium, frisbee golf, ziplines, Sky High Adventure, linear low ropes course, archery, basketball, and skateboarding.



CircusWest

CircusWest offers children, teens, and adults an opportunity to explore Circus Arts in an encouraging, non-competitive environment. CircusWest’s programs encourage respect for oneself and others and provide an environment to learn responsible risk-taking.

As a collaborative community in which everyone can develop skills, find their artistic voice, and realize their potential, CircusWest is a creative space where individuals can dream big, push limits, and defy gravity – all while having fun.



Artmania

During each course, students will create beautiful and dynamic projects that enhance one’s ability, confidence, and enthusiasm for art. Art Mania programs include age appropriate history lessons along with great activities.

Programs are seldom repeated to insure that each course is a brand new experience for all of our students.



Diving Locker

Vancouver Diving Locker’s Kids Scuba Camp is designed to introduce scuba diving to young people, in a safe and fun atmosphere. During each one week camp (5 Days Total), students will partake in 5 classroom sessions, and 5 pool diving sessions.  

For more experienced divers, several other courses are available throughout the summer.



Gateway Theatre Academy

Gateway Theatre Academy offers summer camps in acting, musical theatre, and technical training classes for youth aged 8 – 18. Professional actors, directors, playwrights and choreographers instruct our classes, giving students practical, real world skills.

They are Richmond’s only live professional theatre and Metro Vancouver’s second largest theatre company, located in Richmond’s city centre overlooking beautiful Minoru Park.



Windsure Adventure Watersports

Windsure offers exciting water-based summer camps in skimboarding, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and stand up paddle surfing (SUP). 

Their camps offer kids the opportunity to learn proper techniques in a fun, safe and non-competitive environment. 

Campers should be at least 12 years old and weigh 80lbs (36kg) at minimum.



Startup Skool

Startup Skool is a series of week-long summer camps for youth ages 8-18 across Vancouver and Victoria. These programs focus of a variety of topics including entrepreneurship, design, coding, and e-commerce. In one week students will learn the fundamentals of starting their own business, creating their first website, make a “dragon’s den” pitch, and get a behind the scenes peak at some of Vancouver’s top companies.





Bricks 4 Kidz Coquitlam

Join Bricks 4 Kidz this summer for a experience your kids won't forget! Their camps are high-energy, fun settings where kids explore the world of engineering, architecture and machines in a enjoyable, comfortable environment. Their camps themes and activities are specifically designer for children ages 5 - 12.  




Sewgood

Your teen or tween will love learning to sew at Sewgood's summer camps. Learning to sew gives children a fun and useful talent that gives life long pleasure!  Sewing is an important life skill that is both useful and gives an opportunity for creative expression.  Camps are suitable for boys and girls 9 to 16 years old.




Little House Education Centre

Come enjoy  some summer fun at Little House!  Area you looking for something to keep your children busy during summer break?  Their daily camps and workshop are a great way to help your kids prevent summer learning loss and head back to school feeling confident.  

Continuing the learning over summer can make a big difference in how your child feels about going back to school in the all.  Little House's camps will build skills and confidence and help to maintain an educational routine.



Summer Camps at SFU 

Simon Fraser University offers an array of sport, educational, and recreational summer camps for kids. Camps are instructed by varsity athletes and highly regarded staff. 

Camp options include: swimming, leadership training, mini-university, movie-making, scuba diving, outdoor adventures, and so many more. Kids will enjoy a week jam-packed with fun, adventure, and a free t-shirt! Registration open.


UBC Summer Camps

At the University of British Columbia, you’ll find a large variety of camps tailored to engage children on all levels. From arts and music camps to exciting sports camps to thrilling sailing camps, inspiring adventures await every child this summer.

Added bonus: you can build your week at UBC Camps! Most of their camps are either a morning or an afternoon program. You can custom-build a full day.  



Vancouver Chess School 

Chess camps include in-class games, demonstrations of games of famous chess players, and electronic tools.  In the learning process, they use special equipment such as digital Bluetooth Chess Boards, DGT chess clocks and a projector in order to increase the efficiency of the class and provide our students with as much knowledge and materials as possible.

BC's CREATIVE ECONOMY IS BOOMING - WOULD YOU KIDS LIKE TO SPEND TWO FUN-FILLED DAYS EXPLORING THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY?

Vancouver Film School is very pleased to be able to offer high school programs for the upcoming Spring Break (2017) that are open to students in grades 9-12. These programs are competitively priced ($99 per 2 day session) and run in 2 day formats. Students can select 1 to 3 program options (2 to 6 total days of study).

These intensive and industry-focused short programs will be a hit with high school students. They provide a window into our unique educational model, incredible people, campuses, resources, and creative industries. Students will have fun and make connections with potential study/career paths in a low-risk learning format and for a low cost.

Open to students in Grades 9–12, the March Break camps feature hands-on workshops led by experienced professionals in 3D Animation + VFX, Acting, Makeup, Digital Design, Film Production, Writing or Game Design + Programming. Students can learn about B.C.’s booming creative economy, and discover how VFS’s unique one-year intensive education model can quickly launch a career in the industry.
