Windsure offers exciting water-based summer camps in skimboarding, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and stand up paddle surfing (SUP). Their camps offer kids the opportunity to learn proper techniques in a fun, safe and non-competitive environment.
Campers should be at least 12 years old and weigh 80lbs (36kg) at minimum.

For all the horse crazy, or just plain adventure loving kids! Vaulting is all about allowing kids to experience the magic of horses and circus in a safe and fun-filled environment with experienced coaches. Vaulting helps build confidence and teach empathy to connect with such big creatures. Kids are able to create connections while expressing themselves through athletic activities.
USC Soccer Camps are one of a kind! Youth players come in and enjoy a fun and unique environment to develop. The program incorporates Toca training in small groups as well as a small sided 3 v 3 portion in The Cage to maximize touches and game-like scenarios.

Leslie Global Sports - High performance hockey
High performance hockey camps take place at the Richmond Oval. Camps target rep level players to develop their skills with a low coach:player ratio for on-ice sessions. Off-ice strength and conditioning sessions complement on-ice activities, helping to physically prepare all players for the upcoming season. Mental performance, nutrition, recovery and regeneration, speed work and performance testing education is included prepare athletes to compete at the provincial, college and national level.
Academie Duello - Unique martial art camps
Knight Camp, the winner of Georgia Straight's Best Children Camp Award is a five day adventure day-camp for kids 8-14 focused on the skills of knighthood - from the martial arts of the sword and shield, two-handed sword and staff - to the practice of knightly virtues such as courage and integrity. Students at Knight Camp learn about history, leadership, heraldry, archery, medieval games and much more. It's an experience your kid will always cherish.
Diving Locker - Scuba camps
Vancouver Diving Locker’s Kids Scuba Camp is designed to introduce scuba diving to young people, in a safe and fun atmosphere. During each one week camp (5 Days Total), students will partake in 5 classroom sessions, and 5 pool diving sessions.

Canada Youth Robotics Club is a non-profit club focused on robotics education. With experienced K-12 instructors and students serving as its core members, Canada Youth Robotics Club is committed to improving the visibility and knowledge of robotics education in Canada. The main activities of Canada Youth Robotics Club include community classes, speaker events and robotic competitions.
Kids build LEGO robots with functioning motors, sensors and lights using Mindstorms and WeDo kits from LEGO Education, as well as VEX IQ sets with RobotC for more advanced students. They have opportunity to practice 21st century skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, creativity teamwork, problem solving and computational thinking. Kids program and run robots through mazes, competition games and adventure scenarios. Lots of STEM fun all around!

UME Academy - Web design, game design, fashion
UME Academy teaches Design and Computational Thinking skills to young learners, ages 6-13 through game design methodologies. Programs are designed for students of all abilities and interests. Summer camps are taught at several locations throughout Greater Vancouver, and include themes such as Web Design, Video Game Design, Fashion, Design, and more.
44 Sounds OG Learning Studio is offering Summer Booster Sessions designed to help your child build confidence and not only keep up, but increase their language skills over the summer. Our Summer Booster Sessions are one-on-one Orton-Gillingham lessons designed specifically for children who are dyslexic or struggling with reading, writing or spelling. Lessons are for one hour each weekday for one week.

Summer Fun! camps at Place des Arts offer everything you need for your 5 to 14 year old: flexibility, choice, innovation, excellent instruction, after hours care and lots of summer fun!

Staccato Music Studios' Rockstarz Camp, is an opportunity for kids ages 10 and up to play in a band this summer! Students will be taught the basics of jamming while learning fundamentals such as chording, drumming, and singing. Students will jam on popular rock tunes. The week ends with a recording session and a personalized CD! Students must have at least 2 years of training on their specific instrument.

VBGA camps at VanDusen Botanical Garden are immensely popular and often sell out very quickly. Looking for a kid's camp near Vancouver, BC? Horseback riding is just the beginning of your adventure! My children have done the Eco Adventure camp at Mount Seymour in previous years and thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend it.
This is a great list! This came at a perfect time as my wife and I are looking into summer camps for our son. Awesome list! UBC Geering Up also has STEM camps for kids in Vancouver (UBC), North Vancouver, South Surrey, North Delta and Kelowna(UBCO)! Great option since the teachers are all properly trained university students in the STEM fields so they're pretty passionate and great with kids :)
