This is everyones childhood dream coming true! Slide the City is bringing to Seattle a 1,000 foot slip-and-slide, and if you're like me and can't quite picture how long that is, it's the size of THREE FOOTBALL FIELDS. If you haven’t heard about Slide The City yet, it's a family friendly water party event with live music, food, water fights, and of course, the mecca of slip-and-slides.

Bring your floatie, plus come well equipped for a huge water fight that is bound to ensue! With tickets, you get a water gun, but come armed with water balloons, super soakers, or anything else that can help you defend yourself and get others soaking wet!

Coming to Seattle- July 2015

Slide The City has officially announced Seattle and the site says that registration will be opening soon. According to the site, the massive slip-and-slide will be hitting Seattle streets July of 2015, but no exact date set. In order to make sure you get the announcement for dates, and tickets at the earliest opportunity, I'd suggest singing up for their newsletter, they'll notify you as soon as registration opens! Here's the link: http://www.slidethecity.com/events/seattle/

We're still not sure where the exact location of the slide will be in the streets of Seattle. Until then, we will have to let our imaginations run wild!
