A variety of indoor play choices from bouncy castles to ball pitts, here are our favorite indoor play places in Seattle.

PlayDate SEA

PlayDate SEA is a three level indoor play structure built to keep children active and engaged. Their facilities feature two interactive play floors with rotating games, an air cannon room, and a triple wave slide.

The café is geared towards parents with relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a cup of Stumptown coffee, draft beer, or relax with a glass of wine. PlayDate is a great location for parents to catch up with their friends while the kids burn off energy.

They have plenty of food options that both parents and children will enjoy. Additional features include puppet shows every Friday evening, as well as Birthday Party Options. PlayDate will also be adding laser tag in Spring of 2015.

KidsQuest Children’s Museum

A hands-on, interactive children's museum, KidsQuest encourages learning through play with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM).

Exhibits are geared towards children birth to age eight and their families and include Waterways, the Treehouse, the Backyard (for children 0-3), the Garage (with a Construction Zone and real semi-truck cab!) and a rotating activity table.

KidsQuest offers over 650 programs throughout the year including early learning classes, summer camps, drop-off and whole-family science workshops, free art programs and many special events including movies, concerts and holiday programs. The museum has won many local awards including Best Birthday Place, Best Kids Store, Best Summer Camp and Best Nonprofit.

Pump It Up

Pump It Up is the original Puget Sound inflatable party venue, and still the best option for safe, fun, private events including Birthday Parties, Open Jumps, Field Trips, Parents’ Night Out, Fundraisers and more. They pride themselves in constantly offering new, innovative party programs like Adventure Parties and Glow Party experiences which are sure to exercise your child's imagination as well as their muscles. 

Open jumps are for ages 6 and under from 9:30am-noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Spend time with your family and make new friends in a safe, clean, climate controlled environment. Pump It Up has locations in Kirkland and Lynnwood

Pricing: Open jump is $7 per child and $5 per sibling (plus tax). Party packages range from $99-$280


Wiggle Works Kids

Wiggle Works kids is an original walk-in, soft-play, moving playscape and birthday party experience for kids under 48”. It is a drop-in facility, meaning you and your child can enter the facility without a reservation any time during normal operating hours.

The facility is built on the Yu Kids PlaySystem, which is a completely soft play environment that MOVES! Most of the equipment spins, bounces, or swings so that your child has the ultimate interactive play experience. This playscape literally calls children to come wiggle, giggle, and play. This is where fun for kids is created. 

Pricing:  For general admissions $10 on weekdays & $12 on weekends

PlayHappy Café

PlayHappy Café (formerly known as Playdate Café) in Lynnwood, WA is an award winning family and community focused gathering place for little ones and their favorite grown-ups.

Within a 8,500 sq. ft. facility, they have a 2,000 sq. ft. play space designed for little ones 0-6 years of age, a café serving delicious and wholesome food and beverages and three gorgeously decorated rooms which host fabulous parties and enrichment classes (dance, Spanish and Mandarin).

PlayHappy Café also has a preschool class for up to 16 students.

Romp

Romp is an indoor playspace and community hub for families, created to nurture both parent and child as they play, learn, and grow. The facility is a center for indoor play, classes & enrichment, and a fantastic venue for parties.

The expansive play area encourages creative and imaginative play, while challenging children cognitively, socially, and emotionally. The space is outfitted with equipment and toys from manufacturers such as: HABA, Plan Toys, Janod, and Grimm. Their community kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare a snack or meal. Romp offers plenty of classes and enrichment, from art and cooking to woodworking and LEGO Robotics.

They have a nice selection of snacks for purchase, but don't feel the pressure...you can bring your own snacks and meals to enjoy in their beautiful space.

WunderKind Seattle

WunderKind is located in the northeast Seattle neighbourhood of Bryant. Its a 1800 square foot facility whose half area is dedicated for the kids and the rest caters to the parents. 

Their community play spaces feature an abundant supply of unique LEGO® and LEGO® DUPLO® bricks, trains and more for kids of all ages to enjoy.

All dining tables for parents, are within an eyeshot of the play spaces so parents can keep an eye on their kids while chatting with a fellow parent or friend, grabbing a bite to eat or fuelling up with their favorite espresso drink.

Rates: Day Pass $6/child ; 30 Day Pass: $15/child

JuzPlay Kids

Kids is an indoor playground and a Party Venue in the Eastside that strives to inspire imaginative play and to promote active play in children so that they can be creative and stay healthy.


The area features themed play area, party venue and photo booth station all under one roof in a clean and safe environment. The little one can play and celebrate while parents and guardians can have a peace of mind.


They offer a 3 stories jungle gym combined with moving softplay and a 8 X 20 feet chalkboard wall for children 55" and below. They also have a dedicated space for infants and toddlers and offers other fun activities such as face painting, arts and crafts, story time, and more.

Funtastic Platorium

Funtastic Platorium is one of the largest indoor playgrounds in the Washington.

Kids age 10 and under can enjoy hours of untethered delight as they romp, run, jump, slide and tumble their way through our indoor play area and obstacle courses.

Parents can enjoy a little downtime as they observe their kids enjoying themselves in a safe and secure indoor environment.

The have a special play area for the toddlers where bigger kids are not allowed and all of the play equipment is designed for little hands and feet, making playtime enjoyable for even the tiniest toddler.
