Top Kid-Friendly Easter Events in East Bay


1st Annual Spring Carnival Easter Eggstravaganza - We Rock the Spectrum Berkeley (March 29)

We invite you to come join us for our 1st Annual Spring Carnival Easter Eggstravaganza. We have a line up of surprises for the kiddos as always. Treats, games, face painting, Egg Hunt and so much more!


Spring Extravaganza: Easter Egg and Matzo Hunt (March 29)

Join us for our Annual Spring Extravaganza, complete with an Easter Egg and Matzo Ball Hunt, live music from local musician Asheba, vendor fair, baby chicks, the Easter Bunny, and family friendly activities for the kids.


Eggster Egghunt (April 4)

Every year the Eggster Egghunt and Learning Festival, is run by the Eggster student organization. It is the largest free egg hunt in Northern California. It is free for all kids, and a learning festival filled with educational booths and activities! In addition, we partner with local charities to support youth education.


Martinez Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt (April 4)

Enjoy the Saturday before Easter with face painting and an egg hunt. Bring your own camera to take pictures with the bunny! The hunt begins at 10am sharp


Spring Egg Hunt (April 4)

Traditional Egg Hunt with Candy and treats. The hunt is divided into age groups so all children are able to get a fair chance at the goodies.




Bunny Story Time @ Central CCR (April 4)

The bunnies are back! Come join us for a bunny story time. Right after, we'll have a visit from Judy Hardin and some real bunny friends from RabbitEARS Rescue from El Cerrito.


The Great Egg Hunt (April 4)

Dunsmuir Hellman Historic Estate hosts its annual "Great Egg Hunt". Over 2,000 children and parents attend this fun filled day. There is a petting zoo, an Adopt at Pet Area, crafts, egg dying, face painting, lots of crafts and a very special visit from the Easter Bunny. Families are also able to tour the Historic Mansion.


Springland Festival and Egg Hunt at Franklin (April 4)

Oakland Parks & Recreation will be partnering with UC, Berkeley students of Phi Beta Lambda to present Springland Festival. The event is free, and open to families. Activities for children will include egg hunts, face painting, arts & crafts, bouncy house and fun games! 


Easter Weekend at Playland-Not-at-the-Beach (April 4-5)

Take a hop through Pinball Alley, peep through the Carousel Carnival, hunt exhibitions of Americana and eggs-change what you find for prizes. Happy Easter from Playland-Not-at-the-Beach!


Easter Sunday Pancake Breakfast (April 5)

Spring has sprung and Easter is fast approaching! That means it's almost time to hunt eggs, consider the quickening of life in this season... and eat pancakes at UUCB's Annual Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast!
