Splish Splash! The kids are out of school and the summer has already been a scorcher! (with the exception of a few cloudy ones, but lets just forget about those!) In the spirit of summer, why not take the little ones to one of the many outdoor pools in Vancouver, laze in the sun, pic-nick and enjoy the day! Here’s a list of the best Outdoor Pools Vancouver has to offer!

Kitsilano Pool

The Kitsilano Pool is Amazzzing! It’s a beautiful 137m, salt-water pool located along Kit’s Beach. Talk about picturesque, the Kit’s pool is surrounded by beautiful mountain and city views! The perfect spot to spend the day with the family!

Maple Grove Pool

Open late June until early September, the Maple Grove pool, located on Yew St. is a great family-friendly pool. The pool is heated and shallow, therefor a perfect place to teach the little ones how to swim! There are grassy spots for lazying and it’s all fenced in so you don’t need to worry about your little ones running off!

Second Beach Pool

Second Beach Pool, located on the west side of Stanley Park is heated and perfect for soaking up rays. You can take swimming lessons, swim laps or just enjoy! With Water Parks, and playground nearby the pool is perfect for families and kids. You can walk or bike along the seawall from English Bay Beach to get there or if you’re coming from downtown by car, head west on Beach Avenue.

New Brighton Pool

Located in East Van, the New Brighton Pool is surrounded by grassy areas for picnicking and beach entry for toddlers! Public swim starting at 10:45am!
