The 4th of July is coming to Austin! What better way to celebrate your freedom and independence than watch some spectacular fireworks displays?
There’s no shortage of family-friendly Independence Day events happening around Austin this year.

July 4th Austin Fireworks, Festivities, and Parades
Spend this Independence Day with 100,000 of your closest friends! Central Texans will hurry to claim their grassy spot with the Austin Symphony Orchestra this July 4th for one of the largest Independence Day Celebration in the state. This year’s celebration will, once again, be back on the banks of Lady Bird Lake at Vic Mathias Shores (use to be Auditorium Shores) in front of the Long Center for the Performing Arts. The orchestra is excited to move back to its home after a one year stint at COTA while the park was under construction.

The Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival, which is located in the heart of Bee Cave’s beloved Hill Country Galleria, is a unique experience showcasing the finest artwork and artisans, live music, delicious festival food and barbecue, fireworks, family entertainment, and fair rides & games. Bring the entire family for a day of fun and excitement. The festivities will be capped off with the best fireworks show in Central Texas that will be sure to impress.

Head to Ramsey Park for a 4th of July children’s parade, watermelon feast, water balloon tossing contest, children’s carnival, bake sale, and more.

Head to the Mueller 4th of July Parade, where kids, pets, strollers and wagons will make their way from Lake Park to the Ella Wooten swimming pool, followed by a swim party at the Ella Wooten Pool.

Celebrate Independence Day at Lake Pflugerville! Whether you want to spend the day swimming at the beach, fishing at a pier, having a BBQ, or listening to some great live music, pick your shore (north or south) and celebrate watching the fireworks at Lake Pflugerville!

The July 4th Frontier Days Celebration in Round Rock is packed to the brim with fun activities. The day’s highlights include a parade, fireworks, carnival rides, a jalapeno pepper eating contest, children’s games, Sam Bass Shootout, movies in the park, and skydivers, as part of the City of Round Rock's annual party.

The annual Wells Branch 4th Fest is a family-friendly event. The parade starts at 10 am at Katherine Fleischer Park, followed by the party, with live entertainment, kid’s games, a kiddie train, face painting, a dunk tank, photo booth, bungee bouncer, fireworks and more.

The Cedar Park 4th of July Parade Route starts from the Cedar Park Center traveling down Discovery Blvd. to the Cedar Park Recreation Center. The celebration includes live music, fireworks, and plenty of kids activities and carnival games.
