Ho, Ho, Ho, it’s officially the middle of November which means Christmas and the wonderful events that go with it are just around the corner! There are some truely magical Kids Christmas Events in Hamilton this holiday season, so here’s a list of the best and brightest to get you started!

Hamilton Santa Claus Parade

When: November 17
Where: Downtown Hamilton

Join in welcoming Santa and Mrs. Claus into our city!

Winter Lights at the Rock

When: November 17 - December 30
Where: Royal Botanical Gardens

Discover holiday magic at the picturesque Rock Garden! Thousands of festive lights lead you through a winter wonderland of charming Christmas melodies, festive sips and bites and the Escarpment Train Exhibit. Enjoy this unique holiday experience among other festivities at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Makeology Holiday Market

When: November 18
Where: Art Gallery of Hamilton

Get some early holiday shopping done at this annual market, featuring local artisans and designers at the Art Gallery of Hamilton.

Kids Only Shopping Day

When: November 24
Where: Delta United Church

Children get to pick, shop and wrap gifts for up to 6 people on their list! All gifts are new and items cost between 50 cents and $6 with a large selection between $3-$6. All children are paired with a "elf" who will help younger shoppers with their purchases and make sure they get safely back to their families.

Holly Jolly Christmas PJ Party

When: November 24
Where: Not Just Another Dance Studio

Bring your friends and join the NJADS Social Committee for our our Holly Jolly Christmas PJ Party! Pre-registration is available online. Non-perishable food donations will be collected for The Hamilton Dream Centre Food Bank.

Victorian Christmas

When: November 25 - December 30 (Tuesdays-Sundays except Christmas and Boxing Day)
Where: Dundurn Castle

Enjoy the view of a mid-19th century family Christmas Celebration, among other holiday events at Dundurn Castle.

Burlington Santa Claus Parade

When: December 2
Where: Downtown Burlington

Santa Claus is coming to town! See the big guy in red, marching bands, and holiday floats as they make their way down the parade route.

The Nutckracker

When: December 8
Where: First Ontario Centre

Holiday magic is made year after year by Ballet Jörgen’s traditional treasure The Nutcracker: A Canadian Tradition. Created by acclaimed choreographer and Artistic Director Bengt Jörgen to Tchaikovsky’s well-loved score, this delightful classic is a favourite that brings magic to the holidays.
