Wow… there are tons of birthday party options out there for the active kid and teenager!  You name it…Skating, golf, soccer, swimming, bowling, dancing, and gymnastics. Take a look at these options:

Bowling at Miracle Lanes in Sidney. They have 5 pin bowling which is great for ages 5+, and 2 billiard tables available. You’ll have to contact them for specific pricing and rental, as this wasn’t on their website. Check them out at:

Sportball offers sports and games for 3-12 year old children at various locations in Greater Victoria. For 15-25 guests, the cost is approximately $200 for an hour of sportball time. Take a look at:

Dansko Studios offers dance parties for all ages. You can choose from a variety of options including; creative movement, ballet, hip hop, tap, and jazz. The studio has a kitchen where you can set up for a gathering before or after the class. Up to 15 guests can be accommodated for $125. Most public recreation centres offer a variety of party options such as swimming, ice skating, golf, for toddlers to teens and most are fairly affordable from $8-$15 a guest. Check them out:

Saanich Parks & Recreation includes the parties at Saanich Commonwealth Place, Pearkes, Cedar Hill, and Gordon Head Recreation. There are offerings for children and teens. Take a look:

Esquimalt Parks & Recreation

Westshore Parks & Recreation offers sportball, monkeynastics, dance, skating, swimming, and various themed parties, all for children between 3 and 12 years. They also offer the rental of a box suite for up to 10 people to watch a Grizzlies Game. Sounds like a fanatical idea for a hockey fanatic. Check them out:

City Centre Park in Langford offers parties for toddlers to adults, ranging in price from $8-$25/guest. Enjoy playzone, mini-golf, balladium, ice skating, hockey or a soccer party. http://www.eagleridgecentre.com

There are also a few different gymnastic clubs that offer birthday parties.

At Victoria Gymnastics located downtown Victoria, you can invite between 10-18 guests for $12 per guest. www.victoriagymnastics.com

At Falcon Gymnastics, located in the Royal OakéBroadmead area, you can invite between 10-18 guests for $14 per guest. www.falcongymnastics.com

At Lions Pride Gymnastics, located in the Langford area, you can do a drop in birthday party for preschoolers at $7 per child or you can have a party of up to 13 children for approximately $10 per child. www.lionspridegymnastics.com
