The evening will close with live music at the Tim Horton’s Canada Day Stage and The City of Calgary Fireworks Show at 11 p.m.

Mexifest is a family-oriented, multicultural arts and entertainment festival highlighting the Mexican Culture. It will take place in the heart of downtown Calgary at Eau Claire Plaza on July 5-6 and 7. It is an opportunity to support Calgary’s Mexican community while encouraging multiculturalism among all Calgarians.
Mexifest aims at attracting attendees from all walks, with a focus on promoting cross-cultural discussion and introducing the city to the finer aspects of contemporary and traditional Mexican culture.

Fiestaval is a 3 day outdoor free festival that showcases the Latino Culture, it takes place in the heart of Downtown Calgary in the "Calgary Olympic Plaza" (in front of city hall). Fiestaval showcases international bands and shows as well as the best Latin entertainment from Canada.
The food is nothing less than amazing - with over 30 authentic community food vendors. There is a great kids area with a stage, shows, games, activities, face painters, spanish interacive games, inflatables and more! Best of all, it's FREE!

The annual Festival is a four-day family-friendly cultural and musical extravaganza.
