Entering preschool is one of the most memorable firsts in your child's life, and it is a momentous occasion for the whole family. All parents want their child to feel safe and happy in someone else's care and an environment that helps their child develop social skills, such as sharing and group play.

If you're starting to think about sending your child to a childcare setting that offers preschool care, the first step is to draw up a shortlist of preschool and childcare providers in your area.
