The nice weather had us itching to explore, and we've come across some special views over the past few days that we couldn't wait to share.
Remember, these 5 gems won't be around long and are best seen with sunny weather and blue skies, so there is no time like the present to check them out.
1- The "Tulip House" by Willows Beach
Over 10,000 tulips have been planted by the owner, making it quite a spectacle to see and drawing a crowd every year. If you park at Willows Beach Park, you'll find this charming home directly across the street.
2- The shipwreck at Gonzales Beach
We're not sure how it got tossed to the shoreline, or how long it will be beached, and we REALLY feel for the owners of this boat. But kids were very intrigued to check it out once we got to Gonzo Beach.
3- The new yellow chair at Kitty Islet
The most picturesque seating for two just got even more colourful! A yellow chair has been added at Kitty Islet the last few weeks, which brought a little happiness to our visit.
4- The breathtaking Olympic Mountains while the skies are clear
The weather may take a turn, so we need to make use of this beautiful and clear weather while we can! The mountains are looking particularly magnificent right now, we recommend the Dallas Road walkway to get the best views.
5- The Cherry Blossoms before they leave
Cherry blossoms are particularly beautiful with the contrast of blue skies. Some good areas we've noticed over the last few days are Moss Street (from Rockland to Dallas), Fairfield Road (from Moss to Vancouver), and Beacon Hill Park.
