Don’t you just love summer festivals?! Nestled nicely between Canada Day and Labor Day is my favourite long weekend festival—BC Day (or Civic Holiday)! It’s not quite as big and flashy as its July and September cousins, but it’s still packed with tons of great activities for the family and it doesn’t get anywhere near as rowdy downtown.

There’s tons of great BC Day events taking place in Victoria this year, from the official city celebrations on the 4th to the always spectacular Symphony Splash on the 3rd. Check out our listings below for tons of great ways to enjoy the August long weekend with your little ones this year.
