Halloween events abound in the DFW Area! Scare yourself silly with the best spooky events, scary attractions and Halloween parties taking place in the city. The staff at ChatterBlock has compiled a list of some frighteningly fun time events that you will surely enjoy!
Fright Fest, presented by SNICKERS® is a spooky time of year as zombies and ghouls take over the park. Enjoy thrills and activities for the whole family throughout the day and come back for a truly frightening evening of fun after the sun goes down. Fright Fest offers a wide variety of places to get your scare on including several haunted houses and scare zones located throughout the park. *Note* - might be too scary for younger kids.

Six Flags Over Texas
Kids start the day at Denton Civic Center with board games and a Halloween craft, then visit a local pumpkin patch to enjoy a hayride, bounce house, petting zoo, Halloween maze, pick a pumpkin, and enjoy good old fashioned arts and crafts.

Designated the Mayor’s Safe Trick-Or-Treat Zone, Friscovania features a haunted carnival for kids, live music, entertainment and a wicked runway show with some of the biggest names in fashion. Proceeds from the event benefit City House.

The Haunt Jaunt is a night-time Halloween-themed race hosted by the City of Plano. The 5K will take you through the nature preserve along the paved park trails and streets, combining the convenience of a smooth running surface and the beauty of the Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve. The Fun Run will keep you off the street and in the park for a family-friendly experience.

Experience Collin County’s premier family-friendly Halloween event featuring the joy of trick-or-treating along the eerie Dinosaurs Live! Live-Size Animatronic Dinosaurs trail. Families will enjoy an evening full of fun activities including a presentation of a family-friendly movie on the Heard's outdoor amphitheater stage. Kids ages 12 and under will also have the opportunity to participate in a costume contest.

Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary
Reserve your spot online for this a spooktacular night of exciting science, hair-raising crafts and interactive demos, topped off with a family-friendly Halloween film. Wear your favorite costume, grab your sleeping bag and get ready to doze with the dinos - Halloween style.
Enjoy treat stations, carnival games, animal shows and more. This entertaining daytime event is free with Zoo admission and packed with fun for the whole family.
Fort Worth Zoo
Trick or treat at the museum with your favorite Star Wars characters. Spend the day on the dark side with the 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion good guys at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. The Dark Empire, Outer Rim Brigade, Mandalorian Mercs, and your favorite droids, C-3PO and R2-D2, will also be here.
