It is never too early to start planning for spooktacular Halloween Events in Seattle! This October there are so many exciting events - from face painting, pumpkin carving, bike rides, spooky houses, and even trick-or-treating! The Chatterblock team won't let you miss any of these fun Halloween events!
1. Fright Fest
Wild Waves Theme & Water Park gets a SPOOKTACULAR makeover and reopens it's them park doors September 27th. Thrill seekers can navigate through the park with more than 25 rides in the DARK. Nightmares come to life in two bone-chilling haunted houses and one haunted trail through the woods. Little goblins head to Booville, a scare-free zone for children ages 12 and under, featuring spooky crafts and games.

2. Museum of Fright
This Halloween 'The Museum of Flight' transforms into 'The Museum of Fright'.
Craft all-kinds of soaring, swooping, spooky fliers far below a high-flying glider. Fly witches on broomsticks through a giant pumpkin, test your mettle on the gross-o-meter in the mad science lab, touch alien blood and guts, and hop through an obstacle course under the huge Blackbird spy plane. And in the Personal Courage Wing, you’ll find Halloween games and activities including spooky aviation-themed ghost stories. The spooktacular fun happens from 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM

3. Hoot 'n' Howl
Don your best costume and bring your brood to Northwest Trek for the spookiest event of the year. Navigate through the park to search for animals in the dark on a special nighttime tram tour. Revelers young and young-at-heart can play games, win prizes, and eat treats during two wild weekends!

4. Pumpkin Chomp & Stomp

5. Aquarium Halloween
Get your Halloween celebration started early! Put on your costume and visit the Seattle Aquarium for creepy games and activities, face painting, fun treats and two kinds of pumpkin carving demonstrations—on land with master carver Russ Leno and underwater with our Aquarium divers.

6. Pumpkin Bash and Trick-or-Treating
Pumpkins for the animals, trick-or-treating, and more are in store for little goblins and ghosts at Woodland Park Zoo’s family-friendly Pumpkin Bash. Discover a repertoire of animal behavior as hippos, bears, Malayan tigers, lemurs, and other animals crunch, smash or stomp on pumpkins! The pumpkins are part of the zoo’s excellent animal care program to help enrich the lives of the zoo’s animals, promote natural animal behavior, keep animals mentally and physically stimulated and engage zoo visitors.

7. Halloween Storytelling Train
Every year, the Northwest Railway Museum hosts the two-hour Halloween Storytelling Train event. The train will take you to North Bend and the the Museum's history center. There will be Halloween story times and activities at the Train Shed Exhibit Building during train stops.
You can board the Halloween Train in either Snoqualmie or North Bend.
Experience old-fashioned cider pressing, enjoy Depot and train decorations, and sip warm apple cider.
This fun celebration of Fall and Halloween is a great time for all ages!

8. Nile Nightmares Haunted House
Scaring people out of their minds is what Nile Nightmares Haunted House does best. If you love letting out a big scream or two, visit Nile Nightmares Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays this October for six scary attractions: the Curse of the Nile, Slaughterhouse, Infernum, the Doll House, 3D Circus, and the Ballinger Asylum.
The recommended age limit is 12 and older, but on Saturday October 26 from 12pm to 4pm, Nile Nightmares is hosting a Family-Friendly Night with less scary actors and Halloween candy.

9. Zoo Boo
Put on your best costume and visit Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium for a fun, fall-themed weekend.
You can watch animals enjoy special pumpkin enrichment's and see how creative their keepers are at designing their jack-o-lanterns!

11. Bam-O-Ween
Join BAM for a creative and fun Halloween celebration! You can plan a trip with your family to the Museum for art activities, games, and more festive fun.
The museum strongly encourages costumes, so we suggest you dress up!
Their activities are best suited for kids age 4-10, but everyone can enjoy the event.
