HUFF - Urban Folk Festival

Bring the entire family out to celebrate the best folk musicians in the country. Headliners include: John K. Samson, Tift Merritt, Moe Berg, and Skydiggers just to name a few.
Halifax Colour Festival
September 10th, 11:00 am - 4 pm
We know this event isn't actually on the Labour Day Long Weekend, however it is too cool not to mention. Join the Indian Festivals Club of Nova Scotia as they put on the 3rd annual Halifax Colour Festival.
During the celebration there will be games including "Beat the Beans", "Tug of War", and tons of colour packets to throw around. All ages are welcome.
Halifax Fringe Festival

Why not head over to the 27th annual Halifax Fringe Festival? This 11 day event is chalked full of fun productions, performances, and venues. There will actually be over 350 individuals performing in this amazing festival.
Fun fact: the audience has the option of paying a ticket price. However, all money earned goes directly to the artist. How cool is that!
Tunes at Noon

Come out and celebrate the end of the 10 Anniversary of Tunes at Noon. This annual summer concert series is a family favourite. All artists are local and come from a variety of different musical genres.
