With Valentine's Day approaching, it is on my mind to make it a special day for my kids too, along with my darling husband!
Now that my hubby and I are no
more just a romantic couple, we have two adorable kids; it feels a lot more
enthralling to plan the V Day fun with kids. Especially, when they are all
grown up and understand what Valentine’s is all about. Well, it's about sharing
love, care and compassion with loved ones. Moreover, there is no more
restriction to celebrate V-day with romantic partners! All those who share love
can plan a day full of fun, fondness and fiesta!
Now let's get down to chalking out some Valentine Day activities for kids, so that they understand clearly what love and companionship are all about!
A Heart Hide And Seek
Well, here's for some Valentine craft ideas for kids! If the kids are 5 years or older, it will be a fun activity to help them make some red and pink colored heart shapes out of thick paper.
Make about 50 of them and hide them in all the difficult corners of the house. Now, ask the kids to locate them. It won't be any lesser a fun to find the maximum and win homemade hot chocolate fudge from mommy dear!
Couch Potato Movie Date
Cook a delicious meal, maybe a scrumptious biriyani or their favorite heart shaped sandwiches loaded with cheese and veggies, and cozy up to your children on a couch!
Put on a V-day fun movie! My suggestions are, a Harry Potter flick, a sweet Disney classic, a Minions movie or a cool Hindi movie like "Ta Ra Rum Pum"!
A Feast In Cupid's Kitchen
Turn your kitchen into Cupid's Kitchen for a day and bring in the Cupid inspired menu! Heart shaped cookies, which of course your kids can help you to bake, some real slices of heaven in their favorite Pizza avatars, and creamy ice-cream floats for dessert!
A delicious cake that you can order online is a fab idea for dessert too! And all this while, make sure your dining room and table are afloat with pink and silver heart shaped balloons which your kids took turns to blow!
A Little Pampering Completes The Day
After spending a day full of love, care, fun and companionship, it becomes all the more important to end it with a little pampering. Valentine day gifts for all will seal the day with love and more love! “Happy Valentine’s day” quoted Mug and flower bouquet for your dear husband, some trinket jewellery for your darling daughter, wrist bands, fun games, outdoor game sets for your son, or coffee mugs for a lifelong remembrance, are the perfect gifts to close a day full of affection!
So, this is my nifty list of ideas that I am
going to use for my kids, this Valentine’s! Do share your ideas, I am waiting!
