If you are looking to get a little creative this holiday season here are some sweet and simple Christmas ideas:
Santa Claus Snow Footprints
Every year growing up my Father would wait until all the kids were in bed before he would create this snowy show stopper. With the help of a homemade shoe stencil (simply trace and cut out a pair of Santa sized shoes on a piece of cardboard), and some artificial snow (found at most hardware stores) he would create Santa Claus snowy footprints leading to our Christmas tree. You can choose to sprinkle the snow inside or outside of the stencil for a different look.
Not only are the footprints easy to make, but they are also easy to clean up. After all the gifts are unwrapped, grab the vacuum out and clean up Santa’s steps in no time.
*Carpeted floors work best.
Healthy Christmas Cookies
The holiday season just wouldn’t be complete without a couple dozen Christmas cookies. Although your kids may not have to watch their waste line, you unfortunately might. We’ve scoured the web and found some tried and true healthy(er) Christmas cookie recipes that we think your family should try.
If cookies are completely off the menu this holiday season here are some fun and festive alternatives to try.
