It is never too early to start planning for spooktacular Halloween Events in Victoria! This October there are so many exciting events - from face painting, pumpkin carving, bike rides, spooky houses, and even trick-or-treating! We at Chatterblock won't let you miss any of these fun Halloween events!
Bring the entire family out to Piedmont Avenue to check out the Halloween Store and Haunted House. With Fall and Halloween decorations galore, we are sure the whole family will instantly get into the Halloween spirit. As always, admission to the pumpkin patch is free, so everyone is welcome to join!
Oct 1st - 31st, 2016. 8 am - 9 pm.
ScreamGate Haunted House in San Francisco is a harrowing Halloween haunted house experience. Begin your journey through ScreamGate as the last moments of your life are ticking away, with a prayer that you'll somehow make it to the light, intact and alive. There are monsters, ghosts and demons lurking in every hidden corner, pushing you to an untimely end.
This attraction is not suitable for children under 12 and uses special effects that will make your boyfriend scream like a 4 year old. The intention is to scare you and by entering our attraction you agree to us doing so.....

Have you ever picked your Halloween pumpkin from under the water!? If not, we recommend checking out the Underwater Pumpkin Patch at Brisbane Pool. Come pick out a pumpkin at the Aquatic Pumpkin Patch! Entrance Fee is $5. Pumpkins will cost $2-20 based on size. There will also be fun seasonal games and races for children of all ages.
Let’s Have a Spooktacular Time!
Don your best costumes and join us for spooky family fun at the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s Goblin Jamboree, a two-day Halloween festival designed for children ages 6 months to 10 years. Bring your little pumpkins for a day filled with delightful tricks and treats, including pony rides, petting zoo, hay maze, bounce houses, train rides, face painting, boo bowling, mini-golf, glow-in-the-dark trains, witch races. PLUS: Musical performances by The Hipwaders, Jelly Jam Time, and Asheba. WOW!

Bay Area Discovery Museum
Bring your kids out to the October Crafternoon! Help your little one open up a Pumpkin and explore what's inside at the annual Halloween Pumpkin Decorating kid-friendly workshop. There will an art studio prepped with scoopers, stickers, paint, and more to personalize your very own pumpkin. All the spooky fun (without worrying about any of the mess)!

Recess Urban Recreation
Hey kids (and parents)! You’re invited to the FREE Community Music Center’s annual Halloween Party, featuring CMC’s Children’s Chorus (ages 8-12) and Music for Children Class (ages 4-7) They’ll each put on short Halloween-themed performances, and a costume parade! Make sure the whole family comes out in costume, and remember to enjoy some refreshments after the show.

Community Music Center
Scaregrove, is the annual family-friendly Halloween event at Sigmund Stern Grove, happens on Friday, October 28, from 3-9 p.m. The fun and spooky event featuring costume contests, haunted houses, hay rides, carnival rides, giant inflatables, food for sale and live entertainment. Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to wear their most creative costume.

Sigmund Stern Grove
Visit Oakland Zoo for our annual Halloween event, Boo at the Zoo!
Stroll the Zoo in costume and collect yummy treats. Ride the spooky boo train and join the dance party. Plus, get your face painted, make treats for the animals, and see how the animals at Oakland Zoo celebrate Halloween. Kids in costumes receive a free ride ticket.

Celebrate Halloween at our fun-filled pumpkin patch meadow, with free pumpkins, activities, and treats for the kids.
Our long-standing Halloween Pumpkin Festival tradition continues this year and immediately follows the Piedmont Avenue Merchants Association’s annual Halloween parade, which is part of a daylong celebration that includes trick-or-treating at participating stores on the avenue.
To join in the fun, head down to the end of Piedmont Avenue after the parade and proceed into the cemetery to the pumpkin patch meadow. Children can choose a free pumpkin (one per child) and enjoy lots of other activities, including: several “jumper” inflatable fun houses to jump around in, a hay-bale tunnel, a clown balloon artist, face painting, and a craft area to decorate pumpkins, masks, and treat bags. Food truck vendors will be onsite. Parents must accompany their children to this event.

Mountain View Cemetery
Boo at the Zoo is coming up October 29-30! Make plans to join us for a Halloween family festival where you can trick-or-treat around the Zoo and see the animals enjoy pumpkin treats. Take a trip through the Haunted Nature Trail - if you dare!
- Trick-or-Treat at multiple stations throughout the Zoo- Have fun making Halloween crafts- Enjoy the Pumpkin Stomp & Chomp: Watch the animals enjoy tasty holiday-themed treats and wellness activities- Brave the Haunted Nature Trail (Open 11:00-3:00)- Have a Creepy Crawly Critter Adventure at the Insect Zoo- Participate in our costume parade and contest
