Get in the Halloween spirit this year by taking the whole family to these spooktacular Halloween events! Here's the top kid friendly events in the GTA for 2019.

Scare yourself silly with the best and spookiest events, scary attractions and Halloween parties taking place in the city.

1. Howling Hootenanny

Enjoy a Howling good time at Black Creek this Halloween! Decorate your own pumpkin, be amazed at exciting performances on the main stage, get up close and personal at the Creepy Creature Show, and dare yourself to enter the Haunted Maze. Plus, trick-or-treat around the Village!

2. Halloween Spooktacular

Say boo at the BSM this Halloween and join us for a spooktacular weekend of family fun! Decorate a Halloween-inspired cookie, make a special craft and play ISpy in the galleries! Kids in costumes get in free!

3. Boo at the Zoo 

Celebrate the spirit of Halloween at Toronto Zoo as they are hosting their annual Halloween event, Boo at the Zoo. Your kids will love the trick-or-treat stations and many fun activities that will test your animal knowledge and other Halloween themed games. Don’t forget your camera as they will also have the much-loved Halloween photo opportunities.

Kids in costume (ages 12 and under) get FREE admission when accompanied by an adult paying regular admission.

4. Halloween Howl at the Botanical Gardens

Try out your Halloween costume at this family-friendly event filled with spooky games, crafts and snacks. This program is best suited for children ages 4 to 9 years old. Adult accompaniment and registration is required and closes on October 18.

5. Halloween on Queen

Visit Kew Gardens & Ivan Forrest Gardens for a fun afternoon of Halloween Activities by The Beach Village. There will be costume contests (pets included!), inflatable fun, Yo Yo Dave Juggler & magician, craft corner, puppet show reptiles, stilt walker, Halloween games and more!

6. Camp Spooky at Canada's Wonderland

Visit Canada's Wonderland for the ultimate fall festival. Families and kids can participate in a collection of scare-free Halloween activities for kids including BOO-rific mazes, trick-or-treating, foam pits, and so much more. All the great rides will be open during the day, including KidZville and Planet Snoopy kids' areas. Best of all, it's included with your Park Admission to Canada's Wonderland!

7. Kreepy Kortright

This year the Kortright Centre for Conservation have 4 days of this awesome Halloween event. There will be a haunted house, Halloween activities, a bonfire, a frightening forest walk, and live owls! This event is recommended for children ages 10 and under.

8. Spooky Science Sleepover

Dare to spend the night at one of the Ontario Science Centre's exhibits for a night of spooktacular fun. Expect eerie science demonstrations, slimy potions, and Halloween crafts. Tickets must be purchased in advance

9. Fright! at the Museum

Join the Uxbridge Historical Centre for a night of hauntings and dancing with the dead. This year's theme is Masquerade Ball. You are encouraged to create your own mask. Stay to listen to a Halloween story and test your wits at the Haunted House.

10. Toronto Pumpkin Fest 2019

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the Toronto Pumpkin Fest has fun for the whole family. There will be pumpkin bowling, pumpkin carving competitions, inflatables, Toronto's best food trucks, and a large pumpkin patch!
